It’s been nearly half a year since I last swung by Doh Hut. Walking past the area felt weirdly nostalgic, so when my stomach started growling around lunchtime, it was a no-brainer to head inside.
We grabbed a couple of coffees, the Bagel Special, and a pistachio cheesecake doughnut. The coffee? It was decent—nothing life-changing, but it did the job and gave me that afternoon kick I needed.

But honestly, the doughnuts are why people come here. Everything’s made in-house. We got there around noon, so they weren’t warm-from-the-fryer fresh (you definitely want to hit them up in the morning for that), but they still held up. The texture was dense and satisfying, and they don’t skimp on the cream cheese filling. The pistachio cheesecake one was easily the winner for me.
My favorite part, though, was just watching the staff work. You can see them prepping everything right behind the counter, which gives the place a really honest, busy vibe. The crew there actually seemed to enjoy what they were doing too—super friendly and not just going through the motions.
Definitely worth a stop. Next time, I’m definitely dragging myself out of bed earlier to catch the first batch.
